A Colorado native, Amanda was born and raised in Greeley, CO. For as long as she can remember, she has had a love for animals and knew at a very young age that she wanted to be a Veterinarian. It wasn’t until high school that she realized that being a Veterinary Technician was better suited to her. She graduated in May 2002 from Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, CO, with an Associates in Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology. She passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam in June 2002, earning her certification in Veterinary Technology. Amanda loved the small mountain town lifestyle so much, that she moved to Glenwood Springs a couple of years later where she remained for several years before eventually making the move back to Greeley to be closer to family again.
In 2016, she met her husband, Ryan, and moved to Aurora shortly after, where they have called home with their daughter, Leighla, ever since. Over the years, she has rescued and loved many dogs and cats but currently only has one fur baby, an 11-year-old Miniature Schnauzer named Delilah. When not helping other people’s pets at work or trying to keep up with her energetic child, Amanda enjoys relaxing with a good movie and spending quality time her family.
