Dr. Bobbi Hafer - Lead Veterinarian

${name}

Dr. Bobbi Hafer grew up on ranches in eastern Wyoming and western Nebraska. Dr. Hafer knew at the young age of five that she wanted to “fix animals” and has been living her dream ever since. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Animal Science and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2004. After graduating, she completed a one-year internship at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital and was even on Animal Planet’s Emergency Vets with the Alameda East team. Dr. Hafer continued to practice in the Denver area for 19 years and is very excited to join the Tall Grass team. Dr. Bobbi looks forward to being your hometown vet and treats all her patients as if they were her own. In addition to appointments, Dr. Hafer enjoys dentistry and general surgery. She values the human-animal bond and knows just how important it is to work with families to keep their pets happy and healthy.

Bobbi and her husband, Justin, enjoy watching their two children at high school swim meets and lacrosse matches throughout the year. They have a very sweet 8.5-year-old Jack Russel/Chihuahua named Ruby and an energetic (and a little dramatic) 3.5-year-old Jack Russel/Dachshund named Winnie. They also have an 11-year-old blue-crowned conure named K.T. and six white-lipped tree frogs. Dr. Hafer would love to tell you stories about them all! You might even find her walking Ruby and Winnie at the Cherry Creek Dog Park. Outside the office, Bobbi also enjoys reading, hiking/camping, and playing volleyball.
